WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SURVEILLANCE
Surveillance is a specialty.  Surveillance is nothing like you see on television.  Successful
surveillance must be well planned and executed.  

  • You cannot do surveillance in the same vehicle every day.  
  • Many times, successful vehicle surveillance requires 2 and 3 investigators in
    separate vehicles
  • It is not uncommon for neighbors to call the police when they see a vehicle parked
    on their street.
  • It is not uncommon for neighbors to approach a vehicle parked on their street to
    inquire as to its purpose
  • Rural surveillance is most challenging, many times requiring special long range
    equipment, sitting in fields and finding suitable positions
  • You do not want someone identifying an investigator by looking up their tag
    number
  • Surveillance requires specialty equipment, mountings and experience
We rent vehicles for surveillance after 1-2 sessions in our own vehicles.   It is not an
option.  Surveillance rates include vehicle rental and mileage as well as hourly rates.  
Many times equipment must be mounted in vehicles to prepare for surveillance.
